In accordance with Section 72 of POPIA, we disclose that certain third-party services used on this website may transfer limited personal information outside of the Republic of South Africa:
- Google reCAPTCHA: IP address and browser data may be processed on Google servers located outside South Africa.
- Google Fonts: Your IP address may be transmitted to Google servers outside South Africa when fonts are loaded.
These transfers are permitted under POPIA Section 72 as the recipients (Google LLC) are subject to binding rules that provide an adequate level of protection, and the processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of Enriching Lives. Google complies with internationally recognised data protection frameworks.
9. Your Rights Under POPIA
As a data subject, you have the following rights under POPIA:
- Right of access (Section 23): You may request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you and request access to that information.
- Right to correction (Section 24): You may request that we correct or update inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading personal information.
- Right to deletion (Section 24): You may request that we delete your personal information where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to any legal retention requirements.
- Right to object (Section 11(3)): You may object to the processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds.
